GENERAL CONDITIONS

Registration
The registration form must be sent by mail, fax or e-mail. All sections should be completed in full and they must be signed by parents or legal guardians. The booking fee, which must be sent along with the form, is 200 € (Registration fee is 60 € and 140 € as an advance payment on the course). The chosen course and starting date must be ticked on the form.

Invoicing and information sent prior to the start of the course
CIIL International Language School will send the clients a detailed invoice including all the services, as requested in the registration form. We will also send general information and specific information related to lodging.

Payment deadlines
The booking payment fee of 200 € has to be paid in full at the time of registration. Otherwise the school can’t guarantee any of the services. Payment of the total amount for the course chosen must be paid in full 45 days prior to the date of departure.

Forms of payment
CIIL International Language School manages all payments on behalf of Centro de Idiomas Leo for all services provided (courses, lodging, etc.). Send PAYE cheque to CIIL or Bank Transfer to CAJASUR, account No. ……… Name: CIIL.
It is mandatory to fax a copy of the receipt of the bank transfer including the student’s name and the chosen course. For security reasons, cash will not be accepted to pay for the course fees.

Lodging and expenses during the course
Lodging in host families:
Families can lodge up to two students but more students can be lodged if the house size and conditions allow for it. Families might not always be “traditional” in the Spanish way (i.e. father, mother and children). Lodging is full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner) according to the uses of the host country. The host families have no obligation to do laundry or provide any other service beside lodging and meals. Laundry services are not usually included and a security deposit is normally required from the students.

What’s included in the price of the programme?
Medical insurance, course insurance and personal liability insurance. Day trips and leisure activities programme according to details on “Your CIIL course includes”, visit to Osborne wineries, Cultural Centre Rafael Alberti, The town Bullring, and guided city tour; membership card, course diploma and student exercise book (free text-book if three week course is chosen).

What’s not included in the price?
Registration fees (60 €)
Optional services: sports options, travel-card, optional weekend trips, and special diets, among others.
Optional trips, sports and other activities
For a fee, students can sign up for a series of extra activities (excursions, sports and others). The organisation of these activities depend on weather conditions. If activities have to be cancelled, CIIL will organise alternatives.

Class organisation
Each lesson lasts 50 minutes and is delivered by Spanish or native teachers depending on the course chosen. Classes are taught on weekdays.

Passports and visas
Students need a current individual passport if they come from a non EU country. Otherwise they need an ID card.
CIIL can bear no responsibility for students without the appropriate documents.

Clients’ cancellations before the start of the programme
Cancellations before the start of the programme will only be accepted in writing. Cancellations will be made effective the moment they are received by CIIL.

The registration fee of 60 € is not refundable. Likewise, cancellations can be penalised depending on the date they are received by CIIL as follows:
Cancellations received 45 days prior to the start of the course will be reimbursed in full.
For cancellations received between 44 and 22 days prior to the course a 75% of the total price will be reimbursed.
For cancellations received between 21 and 3 days prior to the course a 25% of the total price will be reimbursed.
For cancellations received within 48 hours prior to the start of the course, it is mandatory for the client to pay for the course in full, paying off any pending amounts.

In case the WHO (World Health Organisation) or any other international governmental organisation declares a health alert or forbids travelling to a determined destination, students will have a right to postpone the course or to choose a different course in the next 365 days. If the student wants to cancel the trip, the conditions aforementioned will apply.

Client cancellations during the Spanish programme
Every client has the right to discontinue once they are at the programme. CIIL only accepts the interruption if it has been requested in writing. The cancellation will be effective the moment CIIL receives the written request at Avda. Padre de las Casas 4. Edificio Oasis. El Puerto de Santa Maria, 11500, Cadiz. In these cases there will be no reimbursement of the fee. CIIL will not be made responsible for any expenses (transportation, lodging or any others) the clients might have related to the changes on the return date and won’t be responsible to accompany the student.

Client cancellations during the English programme
There will no reimbursement of the fee and the course. If you have to cancel an English programme, you can attend any other course instead at your convenience if availability at school from the starting date of your course and valid for one year.

Expulsions and rules for living together
In case of a serious discipline problem, or continuous misbehavior on the part of any of the participants, they will receive a warning and if the behavior continues, they will be sent home. In cases when the students don’t comply with local laws and regulations concerning the use of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, thefts, small or serious offences, they will be sent home immediately. The parents or legal guardians will be responsible for the return expenses as well as any re-imbursements for third party damages or any re-imbursements CIIL has to pay related to bad behavior of the students involved.

CIIL Education responsibilities
CIIL Education will not be held in any way responsible for not fulfilling or incompletely fulfilling the Contract drawn with the client if the causes for this aren’t under the company’s control. Likewise CIIL Education will not be held responsible for the loss, damage or injuries caused, unless the law establishes otherwise.

Change of prices
The prices of courses listed are based on monetary exchange rates at this moment. If there were any variations in currency exchange, transportation fees, taxes, etc. the prices could vary up until 30 days prior to the start of the course.
